Key Considerations for the Dismantling of Asphalt Mixing Plants
2026-01-26 14:27:43

Asphalt mixing plants boast a promising development prospect, and the market for such products is highly competitive. During operation, the plant often suffers from uneven wear on supporting rollers and wheel rails, and may even produce abnormal noises and rail edge gnawing. The main cause of these issues is that the drying drum of the asphalt mixing plant rubs against the supporting rollers and wheel rails under the action of high temperature after a period of operation.

Under the effect of material drying, the equipment will experience severe vibration, which directly leads to improperly adjusted clearances between the wheel rails and supporting rollers, or misalignment of their relative positions. Therefore, operators must apply lubricating grease to the contact surfaces of the supporting rollers and wheel rails after daily operation.

When applying lubricating grease, operators should also promptly adjust the tightness of the fixing nuts and then effectively regulate the clearances between the supporting rollers and wheel rails. This ensures stable operation of the components and even force distribution at all contact points, thus preventing operational obstructions of the asphalt mixing plant.

The dismantling of an asphalt mixing plant is a large and complex process. Prior to dismantling, a feasible plan must be formulated based on the plant’s location and actual conditions. All dismantling and installation personnel shall conduct a comprehensive technical and safety briefing. Before dismantling, inspection, registration and filing of the plant’s accessories and external condition must be completed.

A relative position drawing of the asphalt mixing plant shall be made during installation for the reference of staff in subsequent assembly work. During dismantling, it is forbidden to cut any cables and wires of the plant. Dismantling can only be carried out after verifying the accuracy of all internal and external wire numbers and terminal board numbers; if any discrepancy is found, the wire number labels must be adjusted accordingly.
